When it comes to crafting artisan wines, Bridlewood is all about flavor.
At Bridlewood, winemaking revolves around the art of blending. Each vintage, our winemaker, David Hopkins, explores the hills, canyons and mountain vineyards in every corner of the Central Coast to find grapes that deliver distinct, concentrated flavors in the glass.
In the winery, David ferments each lot separately to capture the terroir expression of each particular vineyard block. He then blends the lots to create a wine that knits those flavors together. A wine that is generous of fruit, well-balanced and seamlessly integrated.
